If you ask Solder Components to request help from our team, you provide an email address and a description of your question or project. With your confirmation, the tool sends those details to Solder so we can respond by email and discuss relevant services.

We also receive technical information about interactions with our services, such as device and browser information, IP address, request details, usage events, and diagnostic information. The information collected depends on how you interact with the service.

Depending on the request, these can include OpenAI, Supabase, LCSC and JLCPCB, Morphik, Exa, Resend, PostHog, and Sentry. We share information with providers as needed for the services they perform; which providers receive information depends on the feature used.

If you use Solder Components through ChatGPT, OpenAI also handles information under its own terms and privacy policy. Third-party websites and services linked from our services have their own privacy practices.
