Founding Growth
We run a PCB design firm that ships real hardware, and we're building AI workflows that make hardware design much faster. You'll build the growth engine that gets Solderable in front of the right founders and engineering teams.
You'll have a ton of freedom to try creative ideas. You might host a hardware teardown night, organize a founder dinner, build a useful little tool, launch a ridiculous stunt, or invent something we haven't thought of yet. If you can imagine it and make it happen, it's in scope.
This is an in-person role in San Francisco. You must live here or relocate before starting.
What we're looking for:
- Relentlessly resourceful: You find a way forward with whatever is available
- Idea machine: You have a constant stream of ideas and the energy to test them quickly
- Strong communicator: You can write, sell, and get people interested
- Comfort with technical buyers: You enjoy talking with engineers and business leaders
- Demand creator: You've found creative ways to get attention and create demand from zero
- Bias to action: You make things happen yourself
Nice to have:
- Experience in hardware, manufacturing, or developer tools
- An existing network among hardware startups
- Early-stage startup experience
- A record of building a founder-led sales motion
What you'll do:
- Try any growth experiment that could put Solderable in front of the right people
- Dream up events, stunts, tools, content, partnerships, and strange little ideas
- Turn the best ideas into something real within days
- Talk with founders and hardware leaders every week
- Learn what customers care about and sharpen how we explain Solderable
- Build and manage the pipeline from first contact through close
- Double down on promising experiments and keep the pace high
- Help shape the company through what you learn in the market
Application Process
We'll start with a short interview. Selected candidates will complete a paid work trial with the team in our San Francisco office.
